I went up hiking with a few friends and we decided that we would take the North trail(2.3 miles) to Cape trail(2.3 miles to viewpoint).
It was fairly nice outside when we went slightly muddy in spots but nothing you won't have fun trying to get around.

Just off the road of the campgrounds we took the nature trail.

Hugs the beach for a few minutes.

Start of the North trail. Bear country!

The view was nice.

We came to a unmarked paths. The left takes you up to the road and to the right is the north trail.

Nice log bridge you cross

The only thing about North trail was the tons of switch backs that seemed never ending. Otherwise it is a very beautiful hike.

We ended up popping into the parking lot at the start of the Cape trail.
There was times where my friend and I were so into it we started jogging on the trail and cruising down the paths.

We ended up running into this side path that had no signs. We ventured up to find a absolutely stunning view of the shoreline and the horizon.

Crash site.
620 ft Elevation

And the viewpoint at the end of the trail.

Cape lookout has a great campsite next to the beach and both Trails are great. I would have loved to taken the south trail. Maybe a future hike!
